“Saturday Boxing Fever” To Feature Carlos Palomino Card Giveaway
First 100 Fans In Attendance To Receive A Vintage Palomino Trading Card
Woodland Hills, California (March 30, 2012) – Right in with its flashback to the 1970s, Art of Boxing’s “Saturday Boxing Fever” show at the Warner Center Mariott in Woodland Hills will feature a vintage trading card giveaway of one of the most decorated fighters of the 1970s, Hall of Famer and Former WBC Welterweight Champion, Carlos Palomino.
Palomino, an all-time Los Angeles favorite who fought two dozen times at the famed Olympic Auditorium, will be in attendance for “Saturday Boxing Fever”. Palomino won the WBC Welterweight title in on June 22, 1976 and defended his title seven times over the course of the next 3 years before losing in a controversial split decision to fellow boxing great Wilfred Benitez. Since his boxing career, Palomino has become a popular actor, commentator, and speaker.
The first 100 fans through the doors of “Satruday Boxing Fever” will receive a vintage Carlos Palomino trading card.
